How we work

Our approach to product development

A repeatable path from idea to shipped product, built for startups that can't afford to guess.

Most startup product consulting fails for a boring reason: the plan looks good in a document and falls apart the moment real users, real data, and real edge cases show up. Our approach is built around closing that gap early instead of discovering it after launch.

Discovery before code

We start by scoping the problem, not the feature list: what decision is this product actually helping someone make, and what does it cost to be wrong. For AI-heavy products, this stage includes an honest assessment of whether an LLM, a simpler model, or no model at all is the right tool.

Build in slices, not phases

Instead of a long build phase followed by a big reveal, we ship thin, end-to-end slices of the product continuously, so you're reacting to working software within weeks, not a specification document.

Ship, then stay

Launch isn't the finish line. We stay involved through the first real usage patterns, when the assumptions from discovery get tested against actual behavior, and that's usually when the most useful changes happen.

The steps below are the same four stages we walk every client through, summarized. Get in touch if you want to talk through where your product currently sits.

01

Frame

We pin down the real problem, the user, and where intelligence actually adds value.

02

Prototype

A working slice in weeks, not months, so you can feel the product before we scale it.

03

Build

Production engineering: the platform, the models, and the interface, built to last.

04

Launch

We ship it, watch it, and tune it with real usage once it's in front of users.
